Lai Zhi Ru holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of the West of England and completed her Certificate in Legal Practice. She underwent her pupillage at Messrs. Choo Dee Wei and subsequently was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.

During her time with the firm, she has gained experience in a broad range of legal matters, including but not limited to advisory works, corporate, extensive debt recovery, divorce proceedings, employment, and contentious disputes. In addition, she has conducted trials and hearings at the Industrial Court, Magistrates Court, Sessions Court, and the High Court.

She is a firm believer for the amicable resolution of disputes wherever possible and is committed to providing practical, client-focused advice tailored to each client’s needs.
